With over 30 area wineries in and around Geneva-on-the-Lake, there are so many ways to wine! When you visit our wineries, you’re not only sipping an amazing glass of vino, but you’re also experiencing the rich history and heritage that our area is known for. Nestled along the southern shore of Lake Erie, our cooler climate creates the perfect environment for quality wines ranging from very dry to semi-sweet varieties. This vibrant and expanding vineyard region is responsible for over 50% of the grapes grown in the state of Ohio. The Grand River Valley AVA is no longer a place where the native Concord and Niagara grapes rule. Ohio is cultivating some of the best Pinot, Cabernet, Riesling, and Vidal in the country.
